Agnese Sanvito studied Fine Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti, Bologna before moving to London where she currently lives.

She is interested in capturing the urban landscape and documenting how places develop and change, focusing on the interplay of colour, light and geometry.

Her work has been published widely and most recently she worked on the book New Architecture London published by Prestel featuring iconic buildings from the world’s most celebrated architects. This publication launch is accompanied by her most recent exhibition Modern Icons London at NLA.

Previous exhibition include Absorb/reflect/scatter in 2014 at The Building Centre focused on the way colour shapes our sense of buildings. In 2015 she exhibited in Urban Dialogue at the Anise Gallery using the visual power of geometry.
Selected awards include the South Bank Prize, ‘Thames21 Prize’ at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich and ‘My East End’ judged by Martin Parr.
