As most of you know last year we left our home of 8 years in Shad Thames and moved with our friends AVR London to a fantastic space in Greenwich. It may not be our exhibition space but it is where we are day in day out planning and plotting and chatting with artists. On Sunday 11 September we will be opening our doors as part of the fantastic Open House Festival. We have been involved with the festival for many years now and love what it stands for, opening up the doors of our wonderful city and encouraging conversation.
Built during the early 1800’s, 6 David Mews consists of three interlocking historic industrial buildings. These have been stripped back, retro-fitted and co-joined and currently function as an office for AVR London & Anise Gallery. Installed in the heart of the building is Rachel Ara’s This Much I’m Worth. We will also be joined for the afternoon by architect Tim Hall from Light Earth Design who will be talking through some incredible plans for the future.
More information can be found on the Open House Website, we hope you will pop by and say hi, no booking required!
